The Markus Library’s Data Management Clinic!

We are offering monthly workshops and weekly Data Management Office Hours where you can make an appointment or walk-in with your data management related questions, all summer long!

Data Management Office Hours
Office Hours are open every Wednesdays from July 12th, 2023 to August 30, 2023, in the Conference Room 202 in the Library (Welch hall, 2nd floor).
Claire Warner, Data Services Specialist, will be on site to answer any questions you may have about your Research Data Management.
Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome!

Monthly Data Management Workshops
Data Management workshops are offered in hybrid format, in person and virtually on Zoom. They are scheduled on every 3rd Wednesdays starting at 2pm, followed by Data Management Office Hours.

7/19/2023 – New policy, requirements, and motivation

  - Background and motivation for the new policy
  - What proposals and data fall under the policy
  - Timeline of the Data Management Plan (DMP) submission and approval process
  - Other DMP tips and tricks

  - How to create an account on DMPTool and navigate the website
  - How to use NIH-approved templates for creating your DMP
  - How to fill in the necessary information and export your DMP as a pdf
  - How to share your DMP with collaborators and Markus Library staff for consultation
