Delays in Interlibrary Loan

Delays in Interlibrary Loan

Docline 6.0

What is DOCLINE?

DOCLINE is the National Library of Medicine’s automated interlibrary loan (ILL) request routing and referral system. The purpose of the system is to provide efficient document delivery service among libraries in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM).

A new version of the software we use for processing Interlibrary Loan requests was launched in March 2019.  The initial release of Docline 6.0 contains a lot of new features which will approve the process but at this stage some important features that make requests more efficient have not been added or enabled. These missing features are causing a slight delay in the turnaround time of requests.

The Markus Library appreciates your patience while we work through the upgrade process.
